I like the Robert Collier Frank Kern combo, yeah.

Liana Ling  15:56

Robert Collins has been actually working for me for quite a few years. You know why I don’t know why he invented the sales letter or something. But it’s just been, this has really been something that I just keep coming back to over and over and over again, that’s been helping me out with just creating better copy. So like I said, the first thing is, I just want to assemble it and just put it there, I don’t actually use mid journey for, for the, for the, for the designs, I just, I just find like I can just find better stuff, just in Canva or Shutterstock, or somewhere like that. So I don’t, I don’t stress too much about spending a ton of time just creating computer generated creatives, I think, too, it’s like, sometimes it looks a bit weird. But again, it depends what you’re trying to advertise. And I just want to get results.

So I’ll either use, you know, any native stuff that people have like, even if you just did something from your phone. One thing I do like to use is, if there’s a video that you have just you got from your phone, I’m very big on just just doing something from your phone. This AI is called the captions app. Anybody uses that one, it’s only on your phone. Let me show you an example. I just get people to record stuff on their phone. Let me just pull this up here. Here’s an example. And I have this oops, I want to turn off the Oops, oh, this one didn’t show here. Sorry. Sorry, I thought I had the right one up here. I didn’t. But what I did was I just asked somebody to quickly do something on their phone, I ran into the captions app. And it just put all the captions on here. I can actually pull up an example of one from my tic tac if you want, but it’s super easy, it’s on my phone, it takes me just a few seconds, just a few minutes to actually do it.

So here’s what you can see here I’ve got like captions, it puts in images for me it puts in emojis, it even has an AI that will fix your eyes. So if your eyes aren’t looking at the camera, it will actually fix your eyes so that it looks at the camera. It does have a zooming AI as well. But I don’t like it, I find it’s too disruptive. But I just loaded up my phone and away I went. So you can also do this in the script. But I’m not sure if the script has eye contact AI. But really, really helpful. Literally takes just a few minutes, oh, descriptors of eye contact. Now that’s great. They did actually just start to put in this image thing here as well, you can’t change the images. But it’s also helpful if you’re running some longer videos, and you just know, you have to keep people’s attention. So the captions app on your iPhone is something that I use every single day.

And I just find it very, very helpful. If you want to go a little bit crazier, I have been testing out creating different completely just AI videos, which you can also do take the you know, take the Robert Collier script, you know that that’s created and just feed it into here. I’ve used Cynthia, which is what I think a lot of people use, I’ve just started using marketing blocks. Because I’ll show you why. Let me just run this video here. They have these AI models inside of here. And when the premade AI models, their whole body moves, it’s not just the head. So I picked this AI model. And you can see her hands moving. It looks kind of natural, right. And it’s and I’ve actually tried this in a couple of videos, I’m going to try it in some ads as well. But this is also something that you also might want to use as well. To put that out there. I just want to test a whole bunch of different things.

I put it on a green screen, uploaded it into Canva, told it to remove the background and just put some backgrounds on it. It worked really well. I find that when you’re creating it, it looks weird. So I just uploaded something that looks really bad. I’ll show you guys here. I just uploaded a picture of me here like a random picture. And it looks horrible, right? Like it’s just moving my mouse. This one over here. It’s also moving my mouth here. It’s sort of starting to make it look like there’s some wind in the background but it’s not great. So that’s why I don’t do that. But if you want to use it for just have some AI spokesmodels. Try that as well inside of your ads. The key here is just to have a variety that you can put in that you can start to test right away in the assemble part.

So just get your stuff created using ChatGPT too and I always use it based on, you know, the landing page. By the way, I wanted to show you something here, which at GBT as well that I just started using this week. Is anybody here tried using the code interpreter? You used it? Yep. Yeah, I see Chris has used it. Yep. So I’ve, what I did is I went to the code interpreter here. And I actually applied I had actually CSV. Let me see if I can find it here. I had a CSV of survey responses. From there it is. So I have a CSV of survey responses from customers. Now, when you upload data into here, by the way, remove all personal information. I don’t like let’s not go into privacy right now. But do yourself a favor, do not put in email addresses and names, etc.

So these, this just has their demographics and their responses here. So I uploaded this into here. And what I did was, I then asked it questions. So first of all, I’d hear it, it’s all here. And by the way, it’ll also clean up the data if there’s any problems in it. So you can ask it, you know, anything you want, you can ask it. You know, for example, I could say what types of messaging and marketing approaches would repel these respondents? I’m just gonna tell you to stop generating here. I like to ask it the opposite as well. Yes, this only works in chat and GPT – 4 right now. Yes, right now. So I absolutely think paying for GPT- 4 is amazing. By the way, I also use and I’ll show it to you, I also use magi.co as well, because that’s where I’ll introduce you to clothed. But both of those are paid versions. And they absolutely paid for themselves over and over and over again. So I like to ask for opposites to get just under my brain going. So I’ll ask them for opposites.

And then I can also ask it, another thing I did was I asked her to extrapolate, I asked her to please extrapolate the plate, the deepest fears and pains that they may not have expressed in the responses, right. So it’s going to go through that. And it’s going to extrapolate based on what it knows, because this data here actually has some demographic data in there. And it’s going to do that. The other thing I did with this is I fed it one of the winning Facebook ads that we had as well. And I asked him how well that ad matched and resonated with this audience.

And then it told me where it would rewrite it. And so I just told it to rewrite it. And then I put it through the and then I put it through the roundtable. So the round robin, and to create more ads. So this is something else you can do as you try to get started. If you have this data, if you have survey data, put it in here or even if you just have demographic data or whatever data you have, throw it hidden here into a code interpreter and just start talking to it. ask it questions you know, give it give it give it subject lines give it any marketing messages so that you can actually start to create you know, your ads and you know, you can actually start with a good base.

Brian Kurtz  23:25

A couple of questions in the chat. This only works with Chat GPT-4 Right?

Liana Ling 23:31

Right now. Yes.

Brian Kurtz 23:32

And Nicole Piper who’s a copywriter asked that you said Facebook is targeting based on the copy and creative? Is there a way for us to leverage this where we set up the ads or does meta do behind the scenes?

Liana Ling  23:46

So meta? Okay, so what I mean by that is meta looks at the signals that you put in there. So for example, we were just talking about like, I think it was like a freelancer campaign right and a certain mindset and they have like certain values, you would want that to come across in your copy and in, in the creatives. So what’ll happen is it’ll look so what happens first of all, it takes time, you have to let it explore. Think of it like somebody in a mall, and they’re just like trying to figure out where’s the perfect dress, you know, they’re gonna go and try in a whole bunch of different stores, they might go back to another store, but eventually they’ll figure out what area of the mall they need to be in. So you need to allow me at a time just to kind of do all that exploration. But meanwhile you just keep having your ads running the same ads and oh, look at it.

Oh, look. Oh, maybe you have a lot of wanderlust type imagery there. Right and the text that you put in there like I just said, maybe you have to talk more metaphorically, maybe you’re telling stories about somebody who’s traveling to Bali. And like I don’t know if this is the market that we were focusing on but maybe a story about somebody traveling to Bali or you know, Australia or like their dream location and being able to work you know by this Beautiful, you know, swimming pool or something like that. Those are more signals. And maybe you only have images that are all women, or they’re women with kids. So then they start because you can’t say, hey, mom’s right, you can’t do that, we have to use metaphors. So meta is going to look at all of that. And it recognizes those things in your ads, it recognizes phrases.

And by the way, that’s why people get shut down too, because sometimes they’re using phrases that sound too much like MLM, too much like, you know, make money and inauthentic stuff, because it recognizes those patterns. And it’ll try to match people to that. And then as people start to respond to your ad, we’ll get more data and more data. And then we’ll start to figure out where that pocket of people are. Okay. But you just need to kind of put those in there. Yeah, so let me just show you inside of Magi what I like or Magaya. Note, I don’t know how he pronounces it. What I like about Maga is he does have So firstly, it’s supposed to be a bit more private than Chat GPT. But he does have something in here that’s called Custom personas. So I can create personas here so that when I go and create a chat, I can have that as the default persona.

Dustin, who created this software, can explain it a bit better than I can. But this chat GPT here comes with some default instructions, they did just recently roll out something where you can put your own custom persona in there. But this allows me to choose several of them. So there’s some built in ones here. And what these are is this helps to frame. This is done without all the defaults, that chat GPT has this chat GPT foreign it, by the way, does not have the limitations, which is another reason why I love it. They have a lot of different things in here that you can choose a debate expert, etc, you can choose that persona, and then you can just start, just start going at it. I do like to use it too, because I do like to use clode advanced, quote advanced.

The reason why I like to use it is it has a 100 token limit instead of Chat GPT, which is much shorter. So I can actually just place a whole transcript in there. And also, it’ll give me more output as well. It also by default, every single one of its charts also reads the internet. So if I’m writing an ad from a landing page, I’ll just say please write a Facebook ad based on this URL. And I’ll give the URL and then I’ll read it, and it’ll just write it for me. And then I can edit it and do whatever I want with it. But I did put the roundtable in here as well.

I do have one here. Justin Brooke does recognize Justin so we’re able to like his voice and some things as well too. But I’ll just do this, I’ll just put the round robin and I’ll just start asking it to do stuff for me here. But I really liked the ability to quickly and easily kind of go back and forth. There’s many other ways you can do this, but I just like that I just find this easy to use with AI. It’s about what’s easiest for us right now. And, and there’s always there’s always something new. So just pick something that you like and just make sure that you do know the people behind it because there’s so many things coming up. Like every hour, there’s some new SATs coming up. So
